Sleep over
To sleep in another person's home as their guest.
睡在别人家
例句：
My son is sleeping over at his friend's house tonight.
我儿子今晚在朋友家睡。
所以，sleep over不是“睡过头”，而是“在别人家过夜”。
如果要表达“睡过头”，可以说：oversleep
例句：
I forgot to set my alarm and I overslept.
我忘了设置闹钟所以睡过头了。
Sleep around
To engage in sexual intercourse with many different partners.
指某人在sex方面的伴侣比较多
例句：
Apparently they have an open relationship and don't mind when the other person sleeps around.
很明显，他们的关系很开放，不在意对方有其他伴侣。
Sleep through
To sleep the entire night without waking. 整晚都没有醒
To remain asleep while something happens.虽然发生了某事，但是仍然没有醒
例句：

Take a nap/Catch a snooze
To sleep or take a nap, especially of a short duration.
小憩/打盹
例句：
I prefer getting the bus to work in the morning rather than driving, because it gives me a chance to catch a snooze on the way.

Doze off
To fall asleep, typically unexpectedly or for just a short period of time.
打瞌睡，通常指很短的时间
例句：
I must have dozed off there for a few minutes. What did I miss?

A very brief nap or a short sleep.

例句：
